A weak chapter does not need twenty more questions on the same page. It needs the chapter taught again, in a form a nine-year-old will actually read. Every chapter comes out as an illustrated field journal — story, explanation, tables, question sets, answer key — and prints onto A4 with nothing cut off.
Practice material fails for boring reasons — it arrives as a wall of questions, it has no answers, it cannot be printed. Each of these exists because of one of those failures.

Every chapter opens on a comic. Rahul concludes something wrong, Maya spots the hole in it, Meera Didi corrects it and sets the task. The definition comes after the argument, not before it.
Multiple choice, fill in the blanks, match the pairs, true or false, short answer, and one that asks the child to think past the chapter. A single format only tests a single kind of knowing.
Every answer is written, not just marked. Folded away on screen so a child can try first, and forced open in the printed copy so a parent has the key on the same sheet.
Where a Vedic method is genuinely faster, the chapter teaches it beside the standard one — both worked out in full, so a child can see why the short way is the same arithmetic.

These are positions in the spine, not the numbers printed on the tabs — those shift, because Content sections is the one part whose length changes between chapters. Watch Out is the one part that is optional.

A definition given before a child has a question to hang it on is a definition they will forget. So the chapter starts with somebody being confidently wrong, and works from there.
Looks closely, concludes too fast. He is the child who has just noticed something and is completely sure about it.
“I have solved something!”Spots the contradiction without knowing the answer. She asks the question the reader is already forming.
“But it flew away when you clapped…”Corrects it, explains why, then sets work. She never simply announces the fact — she gives them something to go and find out.

One question format tests one kind of knowing. A child who can pick (b) from four options has not necessarily understood anything, so the same chapter is asked six different ways.

Animals whose ears we can see have hair on their bodies and give birth to live young. Animals whose ears we cannot see have no hair and lay eggs instead.

It predicts visible ears — and a bat has famously large ones. Flying is not part of the rule, which is why the rule still holds.

A to E check that the chapter was read. F checks whether the child can use it on something the chapter never mentioned — which is the only evidence that anything was actually learned.

A parent helping with homework at eight in the evening does not have the marking scheme. Printing the answers with the questions is the difference between the sheet being used and being abandoned.
A Vedic method is not a trick to be memorised. Where one is genuinely faster, the chapter works it beside the standard method, so a child can see it is the same arithmetic taking fewer steps — and can say why it works.

87 × 93 is (100 − 13)(100 − 7). Multiply that out and you get 10000 − 700 − 1300 + 91, which is 100 × (100 − 13 − 7) + 91 — the cross-subtraction is the hundreds, the gap product is the rest. A child who has seen this once stops treating it as magic.
Vedic methods appear only where they are genuinely quicker. A chapter does not get one for the sake of having one, and the standard method is never replaced — it is what the child will be marked on.
This is the part that makes the material personal. The chapter breakdown from the last paper decides which journal is issued, in what order, and to whom — so nobody is revising what they already know.

No. A journal follows the same chapter, the same sequence and the same learning objectives as the prescribed book, but every sentence is written fresh for it. The tables, the story, the question sets and the answers are all original. Each journal carries a footer naming the board, the class and the chapter it was built against, and stating plainly that it is not a reproduction of the textbook's text.
Yes, and it is expected. Every part is editable before it is issued — you can rewrite a question, drop a content section, change the objectives, or replace the worked answers with your own wording. Teachers most often edit the Watch Out section, because the misconceptions that matter are the ones their own class keeps making. Once you edit a chapter it stays edited for your school.
Then print them, which is why print is treated as a first-class output rather than an afterthought. Journals are laid out for A4 with proper margins, tables repeat their header row when they run onto a second sheet, headings never strand at the foot of a page, and the answer key prints open with the questions. A printed journal needs no login, no battery and no supervision.
Never instead — always beside. The standard method is what a child will be marked on in an examination, so it is always worked in full first. A Vedic method appears only where it is genuinely faster for that particular kind of sum, and the chapter always shows the algebra underneath it. A short cut a child cannot justify is one they will misapply the moment the numbers change.
